Alitalia strike

Alitalia has confirmed that several of its international and domestic flights have been cancelled today, April 4 and tomorrow, April 5 due to strike action.

Agents can visit Alitalia’s website for a full list of all cancelled flights and are advised to check the status of their clients’ flights for travel on April 4 until April 6. 

Tickets can be rebooked or rescheduled for travel at no extra charge, however this must be done before April 14 and travel must occur before April 14. 

Trade Unions Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uiltrasporti, Ugl-Ta, USB and CUB confirmed the 24-hour industrial action and trade unions ANPAC and ANPAV have also confirmed a strike from 12h00 to 18h00 on April 5. 

The airline said a bigger aircraft would operate on several domestic and international routes to carry as many passengers as possible on April 5.
